Toronto Police Service’s LGBT Community Consultative Committee’s Annual
International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) barbeque, to be
held on Friday, May 17, 2013, commencing at 5:00 pm in the Church Wellesley
Village, at Church Street and Alexander Street.
IDAHO is celebrated annually on May 17
in more than 50 countries around the world, as a call for respect for the
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered community and to encourage people to
stand up against homophobia.
Sponsored by representatives of the
Church Wellesley Business Community, a barbecue will take place providing hot
dogs, soft drinks, along with tea and coffee.
