ISLAND AIRPORT EXPANSION Your chance to have your say   The Port Authority is studying a proposal to extend the Island Airport runway eastward into the central harbour and westward in front of Ontario Place to permit jet aircraft. Its “scope” or terms of reference is now being drawn up.
