The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in multiple residential break and enter investigations.
It is alleged that:
- between Tuesday, June 27, 2023, to Monday, July 10, 2023, police received multiple reports of residential break and enters in the Carlton Street and Jarvis Street area
On Sunday, July 16, 2023, Susan Felix, 28, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with:
- six counts of Break Enter and Commit/Dwelling House
- two counts of Fraud Under $5000
- two counts of Unauthorized Use of Credit Card Data
- two counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order
- Theft Under $5000
- Mischief Over $5000
- Trespass at Night
- Possess Break-In Instruments
- Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- four counts of Possess Identity Document
- Possess Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
- Fail to Subsequently Attend Court
She was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, July 17, 2023, at 10 a.m., in room 102.
Police believe there may be more victims. An image has been released.

Suggestions to reduce the risk of residential break and enters:
- Lock all doors, even when you are at home
- Install surveillance cameras on the exterior of your residence
- Secure valuables in a safe, or in a well-hidden location
- Ensure windows that are on the ground floor are well secured
