Sexual Assault Alert, Church Street and Alexander Street area, Security camera image and video released

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation and is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the man.
It has been reported that:
- on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at approximately 1 a.m., a 34-year-old woman was walking in the Church Street and Maitland Street area
- she had a brief interaction with an unknown man, he accompanied her into an apartment building in the Church Street and Alexander Street area
- once inside the apartment, he sexually assaulted her
The man is described as late 20s to early 30s, 6'3", muscular build, with short braids, slight facial hair and wearing a baseball cap, grey top and black jeans.
