PRIDE Dyke March, Saturday, June 22, 2019, Road closures

Pride Toronto has organized the Dyke March to take place on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at 2 pm. Approximately 10,000 participants and 50 motorcycles are expected to attend this event. The march will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

The parade will start forming up on Church Street at approximately 12 p.m.

Numerous road closures will be in effect, including:

At 12 pm:

- Church Street, from Hayden Street to Bloor Street East
- Hayden Street, from Yonge Street to Church Street

At 1 pm:

- Bloor Street East from Church Street to Yonge Street
- Yonge Street from Bloor Street to Carlton Street
- Carlton Street from Yonge Street to Jarvis Street

The Dyke March will commence at 2 p.m., and will proceed along the following route:

Start: Bloor Street East at Church Street
West: Bloor Street East
South: Yonge Street
East: Carlton Street
End: Allan Gardens - Carlton Street, just east of Jarvis Street

All roads are expected to be reopened by approximately 7 pm.

TTC: The Dundas Street streetcar route will be out of service during this closure.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes as there will be traffic delays in the area.
