Arrest made in an ongoing Sexual Assault investigation, Dundas Street and Sherbourne Street area, Amir Pekmez, 32, Facing four charges

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in an ongoing Sexual Assault investigation.
On Saturday, June 22, 2019, officers responded to a sexual assault call at a residential building in the Dundas Street and Sherbourne Street area.
It is alleged that:
- a man was in an elevator with a 28-year-old woman and sexually assaulted her
On Saturday, June 22, 2019, Amir Pekmez, 32, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1. Sexual Assault
2. Overcome Resistance by attempting to Choke
3. Forcible Confinement
4. Break and Enter with Intent
He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, June 24, 2019, at College Park Courts at 10 a.m. in room 501.
