Man charged in Disturbance investigation, Church Street and Wellesley Street

The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made in a disturbance call.
On Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at 5:50 p.m., officers responded to a call for a demonstration in theChurch Street and Wellesley Street East area.
It is alleged that:
- a man attended the intersection and began speaking using a megaphone
- some of his messages caused alarm in the community
- he was asked to stop by residents and business owners numerous times
- he attracted a large hostile crowd
David Lynn, 39, of Toronto, is charged with:
1. Cause Disturbance
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at 10 a.m., in room 501.
Investigators believe there were many people who recorded this incident. They would like to speak to anyone who recorded or heard him speaking.
