Homicide #43/2018, Bloor Subway Station, Police appeal for witnesses

On Monday, June 18, 2018, at 10:22 a.m., police responded to a See Ambulance call on the eastbound platform of the Bloor Subway Station.
It is alleged that:
- a man caused another man to fall onto the subway tracks
- the man was hit by a train
- he was injured, taken to hospital and succumbed to his injuries
The other man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.
A man in his 50's has been charged with:
1) First Degree Murder
He will appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at 10 a.m., in room 501.
Investigators know there were people who witnessed this incident take place. Unfortunately they left the station before investigators could arrive. Police request anyone who saw this incident to call Detective Rob North, Homicide, at 416 808-7400.
