Working smoke alarms save lives
It's Fire Prevention Week and Toronto Fire Services is
hosting open house events across the city to promote fire and life safety.
These educational, interactive events, which are designed to be fun as well as
informative, will focus on this year's theme: Working Smoke Alarms Save Lives.
Participants will learn why it is critical for everyone to prepare and practise
a fire escape plan and to have working smoke alarms at home.
