Idea Distillery #5- Tuesday October 28th

Douglas Cardinal and Roberto Chiotti - Design and Environmentalism through a sacred lens

We are pleased to announce that distinguished architect, designer, planner, and artist Douglas Cardinal will be our guest for our next installment of Idea Distillery. Douglas brings a lifetime of leadership in these fields to the conversation and is currently the lead architect for the Aboriginal Hub project that is currently underway in the West Don Lands.  Roberto Chiotti, Principal at Larkin Architect Limited, brings a wealth of expertise as one of the most sought after and acclaimed architects in the field of sustainable design and sacred spaces.

Cardinal and Chiotti will speak to how nature, design, spirituality, and sustainability can be incorporated to produce breathtaking architecture. Through the presentation of their philosophies on these topics, there will be significant opportunity for a lively discussion on how these elements of design apply to both our daily lives and the fabric of our city and nation.
