The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a Homicide investigation.
On Sunday, May 12, 2024, at approximately 10:24 a.m., police responded to a call for a wounding in the Dalhousie Street and Shuter Street area.
It is reported that:
- a 50-year-old man was located with serious injuries
- life-saving measures were performed and the man was transported to hospital
- the man later succumbed to his injuries and passed away in hospital
The victim has been identified as Jamie Richardson, 50, of Toronto. An image of the victim has been released.
The suspect is described as a man, 6'0", with a large build. He was wearing a black t-shirt, and black pants, carrying a white bag, light coloured satchel, and was in possession of a light piece of luggage.
