 The Toronto Police Service is updating the public on a homicide investigation.

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at approximately 12:14 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Sherbourne Street and Shuter Street area.

It is reported that:

• a man was located inside a vehicle with a gun shot wound
• the man was pronounced deceased on scene

The victim has been identified as Mohamed Ahmed, 36, of Toronto.

Yasir Mohamed, 27, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1. First Degree Murder
