Fatal collision #73/2016, George Street, north of Dundas Street East, Victim now identified

On Thursday, November 24, 2016, at 8:10 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision on George Street, north of Dundas Street East.
It is reported that:
- a 35-year-old man was driving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, eastbound, attempting to enter George Street from a private driveway, north of Dundas Street East
- a man was struck by the vehicle as it attempted to enter George Street from the private driveway
The identity of the man who was struck is now known. He was 72.
