Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Yonge Street and Gould Street area, Security camera image of wanted man released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with an Assault Causing Bodily Harm investigation.

On Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 8:30 p.m., police received a call for an assault in the Yonge Street and Gould Street area.

It is reported that:
- a man and his wife were walking southbound on Yonge Street
- an unknown man brushed past them, going in the same direction
- the unknown man turned around quickly, approached the man, and struck him once in the face, causing a serious facial injury

A security camera image of the unknown man has been released
