Public assistance sought identifying man wanted for Attempt Murder, Security camera images of man released

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man wanted for Attempt Murder.

It is reported that:

- on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 8:53 a.m., a 38-year-old man was walking in the Queen Street East/Church Street area

- he was approached from behind by another man

- armed with a knife, the other man stabbed the man in the neck

The man was taken to hospital.

The other man is described as 5’10”, 160 lbs., bald, with a beard. He was wearing a bucket hat, a black, three-quarter-length jacket, a black shirt underneath, and faded blue jeans with ripped patches on the front.
