Bonjour,
This
Saturday, we're celebrating a lot of things... It's officially the first day of
Summer; my folks in France are celebrating FĂȘte de la Musique; in Canada, we're
celebrating National Aboriginal Day; and on The Esplanade, we're singing
and dancing to Travolta and Newton-John's moves and melodies!
Come
with your friends, family members and neighbours to our Live Movie
Night this Saturday, June 21st, at 8pm, at The Esplanade &
George St (rain date: Sunday, June 22nd). In addition to the movie,
you will enjoy storytelling, live music, potluck picnic, book trade, and an
outdoor pop up art gallery showcasing local talents (on display all afternoon).
Our live version of Grease is directed by Anika Johnson and
Barbara Johnston, and performed by 15 Esplanadians! A project co-produced with
CORPUS, and supported by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
Come in your 60ies outfit: best costume gets tickets to the Rainbow Cinemas!
