The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of an arrest made in a criminal harassment and mischief investigation.
On Monday, June 3, 2024, officers responded to a call for a suspicious package in the The Esplanade and George Street South area.
It is alleged that:
- the accused had been attending the victim's address over the course of several months and dropping off suspicious packages at their residence
- the packages contained an unknown substance determined to be a mixture of food particles and gun rifle powder
On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the accused was identified as Daniel Orr, 39, of Toronto.
He was arrested and charged with:
- three counts of Criminal Harassment
- three counts of Mischief
He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10 am., in room 106.
Investigators believe there may be more victims. An image has been released.
