Teacher arrested in Sexual Assault Investigation,
Church Street and Carlton Street area

The Toronto Police Service is notifying the public of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.
On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, police attended TAIE International Institute, a high school located in the Church Street and Carlton Street area.
It is alleged that:
- the accused was a teacher at the school where he taught the 18-year old female victim
- in July 2023, the accused sexually assaulted the student
On Thursday, November 2, 2023, Hossein Alizadeh, 48, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
- Sexual Assault
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, 10 Armoury Street, on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 11 a.m., in room 203.
He was employed at TAIE International Institute as a teacher between 2018 and 2023.
Investigators believe there may be more victims.
