Search warrant executed in drug trafficking investigation, Yonge Street and Isabella Street area, Three people arrested and charged

As part of an investigation into drug trafficking, the Toronto Police Service 51 Division Major Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on Friday, June 19, 2020. The warrant was for a tent in George Hislop Park, in the Yonge Street and Isabella Street area.

It is alleged that:

- drugs were sold from a tent

It is further alleged that drugs and cash were seized from the tent. This includes:

- 76.22 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 16.23 grams of fentanyl
- $951.25 cash proceeds of crime

On Friday, June 19, 2020, Christopher Baksh, 39, and Maywell May, 32, both of Toronto, were arrested and charged with:

1. Two counts of Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
2. Possess Proceeds of Crime

On Friday, June 19, 2020, Susana Matias, 44, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule I
2. Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000

They were all scheduled to appear at court at Old City Hall on Saturday, June 20, 2020, 10 a.m., room 114.
