On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at 4:30 p.m., members of the community, neighbourhood officers, and MCIT officers are getting together to donate 400 hot meals to those who are less fortunate.

The Toronto Police would like to take this opportunity to address the reality of mental health during this difficult time. While physical distancing helps slow the spread of COVID-19, the effects of isolation can negatively impact our mental health. Now more than ever, it is essential for all of us to emotionally support each other.

The media is invited to attend 51 Division, at 4:30 p.m., to speak to the Mental Crisis Intervention Team, Neighbourhood Officers and the members of the community donating meals.
