Public Safety Alert, Multiple Suspected Overdoses in Downtown Toronto

The Toronto Police would like to notify the public about suspected overdoses in the downtown area.
Since Tuesday, March 31, 2020, officers have responded to multiple suspected overdoses in the west end of the downtown area.
It is reported:
- over 48 hours several people had fallen ill after taking an unknown narcotic
Anyone who becomes ill while consuming a narcotic, are advised to attend a hospital emergency room or walk-in clinic immediately for treatment.
