Police seek assistance identifying man in Sexual Assault investigation, Sherbourne Street and Queen Street East area

The Toronto Police Service is requesting assistance identifying a man involved in a Sexual Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in the Sherbourne Street and Queen Street East area, at approximately 7:50 p.m., a 24-year-old women boarded a TTC bus.

- the bus was traveling northbound on Sherbourne Street

- a man entered the bus 

- the man sat beside the women

- the man sexually assaulted the women 

- the man then quickly left the bus at the Sherbourne TTC station.

The man is described as late-30s-to-early-40s, black hair. He was wearing a beige-and-blue jacket, tan pants, and carrying a dark backpack.
