Public Safety Alert, Sherbourne Street, south of Bloor Street East, Sexual Assault investigation

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Aassault investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at approximately 9:15 a.m., a woman, 47, was walking southbound on Sherbourne Street, south of Bloor Street East
- she was approached by a man who attempted to engage her in conversation, then sexually assaulted her
The man is described as light-brown, short grey hair, 35-45, 5’6", 140-150 lbs., slight build, wearing a burgundy T-shirt and jeans.
