Saturday July 19th, 2pm at The Esplanade & Berkeley St - rain date July 20th
Sixteen youth, under the artistic leadership of Elisa (Shalak Attack) Monreal and Julian Periquet, have created a new mural for The Esplanade basketball court (David Crombie Park). On July 19th, Esplanadians and Torontonians will discover this new mural; a celebration accompanied with live music, dance, and a photo exhibit opening.
This project is produced by Jamii and CORPUS, in partnership with the St Lawrence Community Recreation Centre and the ESP Community Group, and is supported by the City of Toronto's StreetArt program, ProAction Cops & Kids, and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
