Public Safety Alert, Home invasion Robbery

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a home invasion robbery investigation
It is reported that:
- on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at approximately 9:30 a.m., an 87-year-old woman was followed by a group of five men, from a nearby bank, to her home, in the Don Mills Road/Freshmeadow Drive area
- once at her home, the men knocked at her door
- when the woman answered the knock, after a brief moment, two of the men entered her home and demanded money
- the woman turned over her money, and the men fled
All of the men are described as white, and in their early 20s.
Residents are reminded to be vigilant if strangers knock at their door, and to call 9-1-1 immediately if they feel that they are being targeted by wrong-doers.
