Suspicious death investigation

On Friday, January 3, 2014, at 9:06 a.m, police responded to an apartment at 200 Wellesley Street for a child in distress call.
Emergency services arrived and tended to a two-year-old girl who was not breathing.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination was conducted on Monday, January 6, 2013. The cause of death is yet to be determined pending further forensic results.
The death is being investigated as suspicious.
