The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a Homicide investigation.
On Saturday, September 16, 2023 at approximately 2:45 a.m. police responded to a call for a Sounds of Gun Shots in the Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area.
It is alleged that:
- two men approached a group of people
- the two men began shooting into the group
- the victim was shot and succumbed to his injuries in hospital
Richard Baker, 48, of Brampton, has been arrested and charged with:
- Second degree murder
He was scheduled to appear in court at Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 10 a.m., in room 106.
Nathan Bell, 37, of Brampton, has been arrested and charged with:
- Second degree murder
He was scheduled to appear in court at Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, September 29, 2023, at 10 a.m., in room 106.
