The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a Break and Enter investigation.
Officers responded to a call for a Break and Enter in the Merchants’ Wharf and Queens Quay East area.
It is reported that:
- on Friday, August 12, 2022, at approximately 11:15 p.m., a 34-year old woman entered a condo building
- an unknown man was in the lobby area and followed her into the elevator
- she exited the elevator on a floor and continued to open the door to a unit
- the unknown man chased her into the unit
- another person was in the unit and confronted the man
- he fled the unit
The man is described as having a medium build, was clean shaven, wearing blue button shirt with a collar, black jeans, Toronto Blue Jays baseball hat, multi-color backpack, and black running shoes with white along the bottom.
Security camera images have been released.
