The Toronto Police Service is investigating a fatal collision.
On Sunday, March 6, 2022, at approximately 3:21 p.m., officers responded to a call for a collision in the Bond Street and Dundas Street East area.
It is reported that:
- a 59-year-old man was driving a black 2021 Ford SUV out of a parking lot onto Bond Street
- a 45-year-old man was sitting on the sidewalk on the east side of Bond Street, south of Dundas Street East
- the man was struck by the SUV on the sidewalk suffering serious injuries
- he was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries
The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.
Police are asking local residents, businesses and drivers, who may have security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
