Shooting Investigation, Wellesley Street East and Jarvis Street area, Police Requesting Assistance Locating Injured Woman

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating an injured woman.
On Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at approximately 1:19 a.m. police responded to a sound of gunshots radio call in the Wellesley Street East and Jarvis Street area.
It is reported that:
- multiple calls were made indicating there had been the sound of gunshots in the Wellesley Street East and Jarvis Street area
- a man was located in the area and had sustained a gunshot wound
- information was provided to indicate a woman was also the victim of a gunshot wound
- police have been unable to locate the woman and are concerned for her safety and well-being
She is described as white, 20-22 years old, 5’6”, shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a dark coloured short-sleeve shirt and black pants.
