Attempted Child Abduction Investigation, 50 Carlton Street, Mattamy Athletic Centre

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in an attempted child abduction investigation.
The incident happened on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at approximately 9 p.m., during a women's hockey game, at the Mattamy Athletic Centre, located at 50 Carlton Street.
It is reported:
- a man attempted to abduct a boy inside the building on the concourse level
- a person intervened and the boy was able to break free
- the man was unsuccessful and fled the area
The man is described as white, 19-20, 5'8", medium build, and clean shaven.
Investigators have exhausted all leads and are now reaching out to the public for further information. They would like to speak to any witnesses who can assist in this investigation and in particular, the person who intervened.
