Man and woman wanted in "pick pocket" thefts, Downtown restaurants

The Toronto Police Service requests the public's assistance identifying a man and a woman wanted in "pick pocket" style thefts at restaurants in the downtown core.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at approximately 6:50 p.m., a man and woman entered a restaurant in the Bremner Boulevard and York Street area.

It is alleged that:

- They walked toward the bar

- The man concealed his hand by placing his jacket over it

- He stole a wallet from an unsuspecting person

- They then exited the restaurant

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at approximately 7 p.m., a man and woman entered a restaurant in the Yonge Street and Dundas Street West area.

It is alleged that:

- They walked into the bar area

- The man concealed his hand beneath his jacket

- He stole a wallet from an unsuspecting person

- They then left the restaurant

The man is described as late 20s to early 30s, with a black beard.

The woman is described as mid 20s to early 30s, with long blonde hair.

Security camera video and an image have been released.
