Man faces 22 weapons-related-charges, Three loaded handguns seized

As a result of recent violence in Regent Park, 51 Division Major Crime Unit have focused their efforts in the area.
On Saturday, February 2, 2013, a Criminal Code Search Warrant was executed by members of the Emergency Task Force at 22 Blevins Place.
It is alleged that:
- three loaded handguns were seized
Otis McLeod, 41, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1. three counts of Contravention of Storage Regulations Made Under the Firearms Act
2. three counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
3. three counts of Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4. Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
5. three counts of Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
6. three counts of Weapons Dangerous
7. three counts of Possession of Firearm Obtained by the Commission of an Offence
8. Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Ammunition
9. two counts of Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, February 2, 2013.
