Police seek assistance with a Stabbing investigation, Bloor Street East near Sherbourne Street

The Toronto Police Service is seeking assistance with a Stabbing investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at approximately 8:20 p.m., a man, 50, was walking on Bloor Street East approaching the corner of Sherbourne Street

- he was stabbed by an unknown man, who then fled the area eastbound on the south side of Bloor Street East

- the victim was transported to hospital and is in serious condition

The wanted man is described as approximately 25 years of age. He was wearing a red hoodie sweater with a Raptors logo, blue jeans, grey/white shoes, with glasses, and carrying a bag.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the stabbing, recorded video on their cell phone or dashboard car camera in the area, or anyone who may have any information regarding this stabbing, to contact police.
