Police request help in Theft of Dog investigation, Wood Street and Church Street

The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance locating a stolen dog in a theft investigation.

On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a theft in the Wood Street and Church Street area.

It is reported that:

- a 70-year-old man was walking his Yorkshire Terrier named Tuzik

- a man approached him and asked to pet his dog

- the man picked up the dog, unhooked the leash, then fled with the dog

The suspect is described as white, 30-35, short blond hair, 6’0", thin build, wearing a light-coloured shirt and dark pants.
