The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with a shooting investigation.

On Friday, January 15, 2016, at 3:15 a.m., police received a call for a shooting in the King Street East and Church Street area.

It is reported that:

- a 31-year-old man left a nightclub and was standing out front at approximately 2:55 a.m., with a group of other people

- an unknown person attended the area and discharged a firearm at the group of people

- the 31-year-old man was struck in the right hand and attended hospital

- a 32-year-old woman was struck in the right ankle and taken to hospital
