Man wanted in Sexual Assault investigations, Church Street and Wellesley Street East area

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two Sexual Assault investigations.
On Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a call for a sexual assault in the Church Street and Wellesley Street East area.
It is reported that:
- a 22-year-old woman was walking
- a man approached her and tried to engage her in conversation
- she ignored him
- he followed her, sexually assaulted her, then ran away
He is described as late-20s-to-early-30s, Asian, 6’0", average build, black hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, black shorts.
On Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at approximately 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for possible sexual offender in the Church Street and Wellesley Street East area.
It is reported that:
- a 13-year-old girl was walking on the sidewalk
- a man approached her and tried to engage her in conversation
- the girl ignored him
- the man made a sexually explicit statement
- he then left the area
He is described as 25, Asian, 5’8”, average build, black “spikey” hair shaved at the side, unshaven. He was wearing a baby-blue T-shirt with white lettering, black knee-length shorts, with a black camping-style backpack.
Investigator believe the same man is described in these incidents.
