The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle investigation.

On Friday, December 1, 2023, at approximately 11:40 p.m., it is alleged that:

• officers observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Parliament Street
• officers activated their emergency equipment to conduct a vehicle stop
• the driver did not stop and continued to drive at a high rate of speed and turned the wrong way on a one way street – Adelaide Street East
• officers made intentional contact with the vehicle to prevent the driver from hitting oncoming traffic and was involved in a collision in the Adelaide Street East and Berkeley Street area
• the driver was arrested and charged after being treated for minor injuries
• no other injuries were reported

It is further alleged that:

•  a firearm and ammunition was located on the accused

Brennan Moore, 34, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
2. Flight From Police while Pursued
3. Careless Storage of a Firearm
4. Drive Motor Vehicle while Unlicensed

He was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 10 a.m., in room 106.
