Shooting Investigation, Dundas Street East and River Street area, Security camera images released

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an ongoing shooting investigation.

On Monday, August 10, 2020, at 9:54 p.m., police responded to a Sounds of Gunshots call in the Dundas Street East and River Street area.

It is reported that:

- a black sports utility vehicle travelling southbound stopped near Dundas Street East and River Street

- the driver and two passengers brandished firearms from inside the vehicle and began shooting at five youths sitting on a porch

- there were no injuries as a result of the shooting

- the vehicle left southbound on River Street and went west on Dundas Street East

The suspect vehicle is described as an Infinity QX70 or similar model. Security camera images have been released.
