Toronto Triathlon Festival, Saturday, June 20, 2015, and Sunday, June 21, 2015, Road Closures

On Saturday, June 20, 2015, and Sunday, June 21, 2015, the Toronto Triathlon Festival will take place. The main competition comprises of three legs: a swim, a bike, and a run, in both Olympic distance and Sprint distance. The event will start on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at 6:50 a.m., and should be completed by 2 p.m.

Road closures will be in place for all or part of the day.

Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 8 p.m. to Sunday, June 21, 2104at 5 p.m.: -Remembrance Drive from Newfoundland Drive to Lake Shore Boulevard West

Sunday, June 21, 2015, at 2 a.m. to 12 p.m.:
- Gardiner Expressway from Lake Shore Boulevard West to Don Valley Parkway (eastbound lane only)

-Don Valley Parkway from Fred Gardiner Expressway to Eglinton Avenue (northbound lanes only)

Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 2 a.m. to 12 p.m.:-British Columbia Drive from Lake Shore Boulevard West to Springhurst Avenue

- Saskatchewan Road from British Columbia Drive to Princes Boulevard

- Princes Boulevard from Saskatchewan Road to Ontario Drive

- Ontario Drive from Princes Boulevard to Lake Shore Boulevard West

Sunday, June 21, 2015 at 2 a.m. to 2 p.m. (partial road):-Eastbound Lake Shore Boulevard West from Windermere Avenue to Remembrance Drive (eastbound curb lane only)

All access to the Don Valley Parkway will be restricted to the locations of: (northbound):-Don Roadway
-Queen Street East ramp
-Bayview Avenue ramp
-Don Mills Road
-Eglinton Avenue ramp (bus lane)

All access to the Gardiner Expressway will be restricted to the locations of: (eastbound only)- South Kingsway
- British Columbia Drive
- Lake Shore Boulevard East at Lower Jarvis Street

Motorists can expect delays in the area and should consider alternate methods of transportation.

The TTC will not experience any delays.

The event will take place regardless of weather conditions.
