Thousands of runners and walkers set to take the Toronto Challenge

Thousands of runners and walkers set to take the Toronto Challenge

Runners and walkers of all ages are set to take part in Sunday's annual Toronto Challenge presented by MonsterMortgage.ca in support of Toronto seniors. Funds raised in the annual event benefit the 2,600 residents of Toronto's Long-Term Care Homes and Services facilities and over 40 community agencies that provide support to seniors and vulnerable people across the city.

Date: Sunday, June 14
Times: 9 a.m. aerobic warm-up; 9:30 a.m. race start; 10:30 a.m. awards presentations
Location: David Pecaut Square, Metro Hall, 55 John St.

People of all ages and abilities will be taking part in their choice of the MonsterMortgage.ca 5K run, the Medical Pharmacies 5K walk or the 1K fun walk. Participants will arrive early to register in Metro Hall, adjacent to David Pecaut Square, from 7:30 to 9 a.m.
