Tour of City of Toronto's 'no water' SWAT operations
today
Toronto Water General Manager Lou Di Gironimo and 311
Toronto Director Gary Yorke will tour the City's no-water SWAT operations,
where staff from Toronto Water and 311 are managing the logistics and customer
communications for all no-water calls associated with frozen water pipes.
Date: Tuesday, March 3
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Location: 311 Toronto, Metro Hall, 55 John St.
Note: Media are asked to meet on the ground floor just
inside the doors off David Pecaut Square (east side of the building)
After the tour, there will be a site visit to a location
where City crews will be thawing a frozen water service pipe. The location of
site visit is to be confirmed at the tour of the SWAT operations.
