Working smoke alarms save lives

It's Fire Prevention Week and Toronto Fire Services is hosting open house events across the city to promote fire and life safety. These educational, interactive events, which are designed to be fun as well as informative, will focus on this year's theme: Working Smoke Alarms Save Lives. Participants will learn why it is critical for everyone to prepare and practise a fire escape plan and to have working smoke alarms at home.
