The Esplanade Youth Movement is proud to present the second annual Pro-Action Kids 5 on 5 Ball Tournament along with Toronto Police (51) Division. This event aims to create unity between youth and the Police.
The Pro-Action V.S. Kids 5 on5 ball Tournament will be happening Sunday July 13 2014 between 1:00pm-6:00pm at The Esplanade Basketball court (on the Esplanade) between Hapn Place and Princess Street). This tournamentt will bring together members of our community and local business to enjoy a friendly competition, food and music.
The Esplanade Youth Movement focuses on preventing youth-on-youth violence by involving members in education workshops, free community programs, and by execution of this tournament. Previous basketball tournaments hosted by the Esplanade Youth Movement have brought together over 400 youths from the surrounding community. This event will also give our community to remember the youths we have lost and the officers on duty.
